People want to know who is God? Why does He refer to Himself in plurality? What is the Godhead or the Trinity as it is also referred? What is the relationship between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? Is mankind triune just like God?
When Jesus walked on the earth some two thousand years ago, certain aspects of the third person of the Godhead were prominently on display such as the impregnation of Mary, descending bodily upon Jesus in the form of a dove at His baptism, and the fiery day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit guided the fledgling church in all matters.
The Book of Acts proved that the Devil is absolutely powerless against the third person of the Godhead. The only thing capable of blunting the power of God is when Satan convinces Christians to believe a lie and this has robbed the evangelical and Baptist churches of heavenly blessings and weakened the body of Christ’s impact on the world.
