The Destiny of the Human Race Part 8
Pastor John presents details of the millennial kingdom following Christ’s victorious return. Lucifer is confined to the bottomless pit, the Antichrist and False Prophet are cast into the Lake of Fire, and demonic activity ceases. Jesus arrives in Jerusalem in glory, described in imagery paralleling Ezekiel’s vision of the divine throne. The former temple site is cleared, but no temple is rebuilt, because Christ Himself is the visible dwelling place of God among humanity.
An aerial survey reveals massive environmental devastation caused by tribulation judgments. Oceans are polluted, vegetation is destroyed, and water are sources corrupted. The earth suffered cosmic damage during the angelic rebellion and now it undergoes a final restoration.
Angels are dispatched to purify waters, restore atmospheric balance, renew soil fertility, and repopulate animal life. The planet is transformed to Eden-like conditions. Miraculous healings occur as foretold in Isaiah: the blind see, the lame walk, deserts blossom, and a protected highway called the Way of Holiness is established for the redeemed.
The curse of sin is partially reversed in nature as predatory animals dwell peacefully with former prey, children interact safely with once-dangerous creatures, and violence disappears. Vegetation flourishes worldwide as rivers flow in desert regions. Longevity dramatically increases; dying at one hundred years old is considered youthful.
Survivors who refused the Mark of the Beast are gathered and instructed by resurrected believers. With Satan bound, deception is absent, yet at the end of the thousand years he will be released briefly to test humanity once more before the final judgment.
The earth is repopulated in a manner similar to Adam’s and Noah’s eras. Society functions under Christ’s direct rule with immediate justice. Grace is no longer extended by Jesus and violations of divine law result in swift capital punishment, paralleling Mosaic Law categories of capital offenses. Christ rules with a rod of iron to preserve holiness and covenant order.
