God is not bound by time and sometimes the Holy Spirit will reveal a hidden truth or provide a revelation of future events. Peter exposing the deceit of Ananias and Sapphira and Agabus warning Paul not to go to Jerusalem are two such examples.
Ananias and Sapphira wanted public recognition for their donation and the early church quickly realized lying to the Holy Spirit would not be tolerated. Paul disregarded the warning of his impending arrest and was subsequently imprisoned for ignoring God’s warning. Obedience or disobedience to the Word of Knowledge can bring about different results.
Pastor John shared personal stories of divine direction in ministry and how it has helped him over the years. He highlighted the fact that operating in the Word of Knowledge is a confirmation of being in God’s will and it is privilege to be chosen by the Holy Spirit.
