Our Relationship with God

The Lord goes to great lengths to develop relationships with His people. Our Creator knows us intimately, and in developing our relationship with Him, will test and search our hearts to see if we implicitly trust Him. When God tested Abraham, it was not so much that God needed to know if He could trust Abraham, but it was Abraham that needed to know who he was and what he was capable of doing for God.

The test wasn’t pleasant but it built Abraham’s strength and character and increased his trust and faith in the Lord. To know God is to love Him, yourself and others around you. How is your relationship with the Lord and are you being perfected in His unconditional love?
