The war on Iran continues. It is difficult to assess the losses and the damage caused by either side. Everyone; Iran, Israel, the US, and various Gulf countries, practice information warfare and censorship. Everyone exaggerates their successes and do not admit their losses.
It is reported that Iran has reached out to the CIA in private for an end to the conflict. Some report senior Iranian officials refuse to engage in talks. It is certain they know that the Syrian experience of the last two decades in on their map now. Even if they negotiate in the short term the war will continue in the long term with periods of quiet and rage.
As far as we can tell the bulk of the air campaign is being completed by Israel. Israel is not able to hit the deep bunkers Iran has built. This leaves the US using its B-52’s and B-1 Lancers and B-2’s to hit the deeper targets. Questions of the US’s inventory of large bombs on hand to hit deep bunkers remain.
The most immediate cause of the shortage was the use of 14 GBU-57 bombs during Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025 to target nuclear facilities at Fordow and Natanz, causing a massive drawdown of the available inventory. The strike exposed the risks of having a very small pool of the cost bombs. Estimates for the remaining number of bombs stand at between six and 15 bombs. The possible use of the bombs to strike heavily fortified Yemeni targets in October 2024, when the use of B-2s was confirmed, has further raised uncertainty regarding remaining quantities.
With each bomb is estimated to cost over $370 million, the GBU-57 was never produced in large numbers, and is considered a high-value, low-density munition. A critical issue highlighted after strikes on Iran in June is the U.S. government relies on a single contractor, Boeing, which owns the intellectual property for the bomb’s critical tail kit guidance system. This “vendor lock” prevents the government cannot easily sourcing components from other manufacturers to quickly increase production or resolve parts obsolescence. To meet urgent replenishment needs after the strikes, the Air Force had to award a sole-source contract to Boeing, while reverse-engineering one component from the ATACMS ballistic missile system. The supply chain issues reflect broader issues that have affected the U.S. defence sector increasingly severely since the end of the Cold War due to the contraction of industry.
Iran has hit several large US radar installations in the Gulf region and continues to launch against Israel. Oil infrastructure has been spared for the most part but if this continues Iran will have not choice but to use their Sampson option, demolish the Gulf Cooperation Councils oil infrastructure and lose theirs as well.
The tail wags the dog
According to the New York Times:
President Trump’s embrace of military action in Iran was spurred by an Israeli leader determined to end diplomatic negotiations. Few of the president’s advisers voiced opposition.
In a press conference Secretary of State Rubio admitted Israel was about was about to attack Iran and Iran was near certain to attack US bases in the region. The hand of the US was forced by what they believed, Israel was about to attack Iran on a large scale.
Boots on The Ground
It is being reported that the US administration is pushing the Kurd’s in Western Iran and North Eastern Iraq to enter Iran. Positions along these borders are being heavily bombed by Israel to open the door. Their hope appears to be to begin to break up Iran into warring sections similar as to what happened in Syria. It is fairly certain US boots on the ground will be working with the Kurdish forces in this endeavor.
How did we get here in the long term?
There has been a long trail of blood and murder in the establishment and creation of the current state of Israel. Arab countries in the region fought back viciously against the growing state of Israel and were decisively beaten time and time again.
Christian Zionists in and out of the administration believe this is a modern day miracle of God. U.S. Sec. of War Pete Hegseth said in 2018 that rebuilding the Third Temple of Solomon on the Temple Mount (over Al-Aqsa mosque) would be a “miracle.” This view pervades the current administration from top to bottom.
On the other side Ayatollah Ali Khamenei consistently condemned the Israeli control and security presence on the Temple Mount, describing it as an “insult” to the Al‑Aqsa Mosque and one of the foremost problems facing Muslims. He framed Israeli policing and activities there as part of broader “crimes” against Palestinians and used the issue to argue that Muslims have a religious duty to oppose Israel’s authority over the site.
Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei repeatedly expressed the desire that Muslims would one day be able to pray in Jerusalem—specifically at Al‑Aqsa—after the elimination or defeat of Israel, and that he or his supporters would lead such prayers there.
In reality the new third temple will be built and Antichrist will enter the temple and proclaim himself to be god. We have written about this many times over many decades. The temple is going to be set up to sacrifice animals for sin. Jesus’s reason for coming the Earth in human form was to end that system. He was the final sacrifice for all. Their is no special dispensation for Jews. Chrsitian Zionists disagree with this view.
The First Temple built by Solomon was allowed to be destroyed by the Babylonians (what was Iran in ancient times) because the Jews walked away from the Lord of Hosts. It was a den of hidden occult symbolism.
7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

Ezekiel 8:7-12
The second Temple was destoyed by the Romans after the murder of Jesus. Nothing had changed in the temples hierarchy from the first to the second temple. Jesus warned future Christians prior to its demise.
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:1-8
Clear the battle lines are drawn. Jews and Christians Zionists vs. Iran’s variation of Islam over the control of Jerusalem’s temple site. Judaism has a hidden side that is at the center of power and control in Israel in the past and today.
The end times appear to be on us. If so, then Iran loses and the other sides wins clearing the way to build their temple on the temple mount. How long that will take is anyone’s guess. The Gulf Cooperation Council and Sunni Islam appears to be on the side of Israel. That is a story for another day.
