Faith is a spiritual energy from God and it gives us the ability to accomplish the impossible. While it is not definable in the physical world, it nevertheless empowers Christians to perform extraordinary things on earth.
David’s victory over Goliath showed how faith can embolden someone beyond natural ability. Jesus relied on God the Father when He spoke peace to calm the raging sea. The Son of God also withered a fig tree with just a few words, illustrating how even a small amount of faith can yield powerful results.
God responds to our faith. He is not a respecter of persons and the gift of faith is available to all who diligently seek Him. Faith connects us to God’s power and allows the Holy Spirit to produce miracles. Operating in this gift is exciting and affirming because it signifies being in God’s will and it is privilege to be chosen by the Holy Spirit.
