Faith is born in an intimate relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.
John 11:1-45

Martha and Mary were friends with Jesus, but after the resurrection of their brother Lazarus, Jesus became their Lord and Saviour.

Faith is a spiritual substance, a gift from God to believe when we cannot see, smell, hear or touch. Hebrews 11:1-3

It was this faith that moved Jesus. Matthew 8:1-13

By faith Abel was saved. Hebrews 11:4

By faith Enoch was taken to heaven. verse 5

Faith is a must. verse 6

By faith Noah saved his family and the human race. verse 7

Faith moved Abraham from Babylon to the Promised Land. verses 8-10

By faith Sarah conceived a son. verse 11

Faith is the motivating gift, which gave power to the bloodline that finally produced the teenager Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, the Messiah. verses 12-40

Faith only grows in the valley, not on the mountain top. Psalm 71:1-24

God wants you to have faith to believe that:

• He loves you. John 3:16

• He forgives you. Romans 5:6-11

• He saved you. Romans 10:8-13

• He is healing your body. Matthew 8:14-17

• He is taking care of your needs. Matthew 6:28-34
