Most Christians believe that God the Father is the God of the Old Testament and that Jesus is the God of the New Testament. This was true for Pastor John growing up. He was born again at a young age and thought that Jesus was the first name and the family name was Christ. This is not only theologically wrong, but it is a false teaching that has permeated the church and been repeated enough that Christians believe it is true.

As an adult, Pastor John learned that Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Mary. Yet he did not understand the relationship between God the Father and Jesus, except that Jesus was the son. It is said that ignorance is bliss, but the Bible states that men perish for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6) In reading the Bible, Pastor John learned that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are one and they have always existed. Christians know that Jesus is the Savior but there is more to it than that.

Jesus came the first time to save mankind, but He does not have a birthday since He has always existed. Jesus is the Creator and the one who sustains the entire creation. Jesus was the lawgiver during the Old Testament time; He is also the one that wrote all spiritual laws and enforces them. In the end times it will be Jesus who judges humanity according to these laws at His second return. Read this booklet and the accompanying scriptures if you want to know the truth about who Jesus truly is.
