Did you know that the concept that Jesus is the groom and the church is His bride can be found in the New Testament in several places. The apostle James was given a strong revelation on the concept of Jesus as the groom and the church as the bride when he wrote a stinging rebuke to the believers who are not faithful to Jesus.

In the Old Testament, God speaks of going a whoring and committing whoredom. The concept here is that the people were not faithful to God since they were worshipping demon gods. Whether they realized it or not, behind these demon gods stood their master, the Devil.

GOD DOES NOT WANT TO SHARE YOU WITH THE DEVIL!

During the Old Testament times, idols were images made of stone or wood and placed in a grove or temple. Sacrifices to these dumb idols consisted of burning incense, chanting, leaving food in front of the idol, and many times by killing a child and then burning it. Sexual intercourse, homosexuality and bestiality were often part of the demon god worship; God despised these rituals and put a death sentence upon those who participated in them.

Nowadays many people do their worship in sports arenas, rock concerts, nightclubs, gambling casinos, whorehouses, etc. There is a need for a spiritual and physical cleansing in the lives of God’s people because judgment always begins at the house of God!
