Baptism of the Holy Spirit

A Study on the Holy Spirit Part 2

Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to guide and empower believers in Christ. The fiery day of Pentecost kickstarted the church on the first day with 3,000 converts.

The Son of God never stated the Holy Ghost baptism was only for a certain time; rather, it is a far-reaching promise about the third person of the Godhead remaining on earth until the second coming of Jesus. Christians don’t have to operate with talents, abilities, and resources alone.

Heaven is at our disposal as the Holy Spirit empowers us with various spiritual gifts to advance the Kingdom of God. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are unique tools for personal help, to serve others, to strengthen the church, and to convey the power of God despite the best efforts of Satan to oppose His agenda. They reflect the diversity and unity of the decentralized body of Christ, where each member plays a vital role as they are led by the Holy Spirit.
