REVERSE VIEWPOINT
Theologians like Martin Luther, John Calvin and others begin their discourses with the creation of Adam and Eve and then moved forward in time. To my knowledge, the time prior to Adam was never discussed and the Book of Revelation was a mystery to them.

I have taken a different approach in that I am commencing from the Book of Revelation and working backwards, doing a form of reverse engineering. Examining the information about the war in heaven and comparing it with the accounts in Isaiah and Ezekiel, I have been able to piece together how the Godhead performed a virtual time run of the creation that started with the angels coming into being, the creation of the universe, the space war, the trial of Lucifer, his subsequent appeal, and how the creation of humanity was God’s response to accusations that He was unfair. Mankind came into being to prove God’s righteousness. Revelation 12:7-10, 12; Isaiah 14:10-20; Ezekiel 28:12-19; Romans 3:21-28

We now know more knowledge about God’s technology. The deliberate crash of one of Lucifer’s spacecraft in 1947 provided tangible evidence to the existence of other beings in the universe. It also made it possible for mankind to take an evolutionary leap into the computer age, making it possible for man to discover DNA and cloning. This new revealed knowledge validated what the Bible said. Daniel 12:4

In order to prove His righteousness, God had to limit His responses to Lucifer or the Devil would be able to say that God’s plan was overwhelming and could not be matched. A long game of tug-of-war ensued as Lucifer has challenged everything God has done, and at the same time, tried to corrupt it. Matthew 25:41

God’s intention was to create a redemption plan for the human race. In order to make sure that Lucifer did not derail it, the details of the second covenant were concealed from the angels and humanity. The big reveal took place when God the Father laid the sins of the mankind upon Jesus at the cross and judged Him. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8

Mankind knew that a Redeemer was coming and individuals could be saved by repentance and faith in the Messiah. The account was written by Enoch, who was told the Redeemer would be known as the “Son of Man.”

“At that hour, that Son of man was given a name, in the presence of the Lord of the Spirits, the Before Time, even before the creation of the sun and the moon, before the creation of the stars, he was given a name in the presence of the Lord of Spirits. He will become the light of the gentiles and he will become the hope of those who are sick in their hearts. All those who dwell upon the earth shall fall and worship before him; they shall glorify, bless, and sing the name of the Lord of Spirits. For this purpose he became the Chosen One; he was concealed in the presence of the Lord of the Spirits prior to the creation of the world, and for eternity.” 1 Enoch 48:1-5

Job was a preacher and a contemporary with Abraham who knew about the Redeemer and expressed it in writing. Job 19:23-27

THE THIRD HEAVEN
We are now going to continue examining the ongoing conflict between God and Lucifer.

Given what they had seen thus far, the Godhead paused the virtual time run to discuss the possible creation they had witnessed. They saw how Lucifer deceived Eve, who in turn deceived Adam. 1 Timothy 2:13-15

The Godhead decided that a redemption plan for the human race would be implemented. Genesis 3:15

God the Father knew that mankind could never pay the sin debt; the only way for it to be paid was through the death of God the Son. It had to be God the Father reconciling the world back to Himself through the death of God the Son. So when the time for the redemption arrived, God the Father was in the third heaven while Jesus was incarnated into a human body to be tempted in all ways and then pay for the sins of the human race. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8; 1 Peter 1:19-20; Revelation 13:8

Jesus expressed His willingness to pay for the sins of humanity so He could prove to the angels – holy and unholy – that the Godhead is righteous, and when a creature with a free will makes a choice to rebel, that creature is also worthy of eternal punishment.  2 Corinthians 5:18-19

Mankind would be allowed to grow in number over 4,000 years in order to prove to the angels – holy and unholy – that God is righteous. In this way, Lucifer and his minions would not be able to contest their fate.

Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
