The History of Resurrection Life of Jesus Church

Terrestrial radio was the initial backbone of this ministry when God called me to start broadcasting in 1975. Radio was crucial to the growth of the churches I pastored and the growth we experienced from 1975 to 2005 was the direct result of people hearing me preach on the radio and it was not uncommon for listeners to begin attending our church.
The radio ministry mainly featured 15-minute pre-recorded messages throughout the work week. These were aired early in the morning during the commute time. There was also an hour-long program on the same station where a co-host and I discussed the latest political development and listeners called in to order specially prepared material. Our radio outreach reached audiences from the greater Sacramento area and into the San Francisco Bay area.
A BRIEF HISTORY
This narrative begins in 1981 when I was serving as pastor of Christian Life Ministries in Carmichael, which is a suburb of the Sacramento area. The Dungeons and Dragons role playing game was widely popular among young people in which they created a character and played over a long period of time. The game was built on witchcraft, casting spells, assassinating other players’ tokens, conjuring up demons and using supernatural power to defeat the other players. Emotionally immature teens would identify with their game character and sometimes they found it challenging to separate fantasy from reality.
In the summer of 1981, the Cordova Recreation & Park District of eastern Sacramento County proposed organizing a summer of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) in their facilities for the youth. Our church created a pamphlet that exposed the occult platform of the strategy game since it involves sorcery or magic where the player’s character calls upon evil spirits.
Mistakes in the game lead to the character being punished and possessed by an outside entity. The gameplay is predicated upon occult terms and desensitizes the child to scenarios and events that outside of the game would be described as bizarre and evil. We printed thousands of the tracts and church members invaded Rancho Cordova, systematically going to each residence and telling why they should resist this proposed summer of witchcraft. In the meantime, I used my weekly radio program to rail against the D&D project, exposing the seemingly innocent witchcraft.
The Cordova Recreation & Park District board of directors scheduled a public meeting to discuss the matter because we stirred up the community. Local television stations started to talk about the controversy, and when the meeting finally took place, there were a number of outlets covering the meeting. Only residents could attend the meeting and we had a few families that were allowed to speak against the witchcraft theme game.
I had made it clear that witchcraft is a religion, and according to the Constitution, a specific religion cannot be promoted above others by the government. This is what the Cordova Recreation & Park District inadvertently was doing with their proposal. Our people convincingly argued the case that the board members were convinced D&D was a religion and they voted to scrap the proposed plan. This decision was trumpeted on television and radio and our victory ushered in requests for interviews.
THE WITCHES ARRIVE
There were about 5,000 witches in the greater Sacramento area divided into a number of covens. They had been monitoring my radio programs and sent representatives to the meeting in Rancho Cordova.
A few weeks after our victory, we were getting ready to start the Sunday morning service when five sheriff deputies in full uniform entered the building and began to shout out questions, seeking to identify me and the rest of the church elders. We were all served papers to appear in court as the witches had filed a class action lawsuit. This action frightened many of the church members and they left so they would not get dragged into the conflict.
The summons stated that they had filed a claim seeking $600,000 in damages, plus the ministry was going to pay for the court costs associated with the upcoming trial. This was a large amount, and adjusted for inflation, would be close to two million dollars today.
I called for a meeting to discuss our course of action. One of my elders, Wid Coryell, had told me years earlier to take out insurance for the church. When we examined the policy, it stated “that in case the pastor did a stupid thing, it would be covered.” Wid advised not attending the trial and letting the attorneys take care of it. And that is exactly what we did. They successfully made the case that we were simply exercising our legal right to express our faith and the case was subsequently dismissed. While the witches may have lost in court, they regrouped for a spiritual attack against the church.
WITCH FROM NEBRASKA
Sometime in June of 1982 a woman named Jean Nie started to attend our church. She called me one night and tearfully said she had been beat up by demons. Jean asked if I could come over and pray. I picked up my assistant pastor on the way to her apartment and I was not prepared for what I saw when we entered her place. The living room was absolutely wrecked, like someone had methodically just gone through the room and broken everything. Jean was sitting on the floor, crying and looking just pitiful. She reiterated that she had been attacked by demons and then immediately told us she was a witch who had failed in her mission and this was her punishment.
It turns out she was a member of a coven in Nebraska. After she was unmasked, Jean stated she was sent from Nebraska to Los Angeles for special training and then instructed move to Sacramento, get a job and an apartment, and join our church. She was specifically told to target me. Her orders were to seduce and discredit me. Jean was initially repentant and eventually she turned back to witchcraft and we subsequently ordered her to leave the church.
The witchcraft covens in the area held special meetings, conjuring up demons to be sent to the people in the church and to cause problems. I received this information later on from a coven leader at a debate arranged by a local newspaper.
PROBLEMS IN SWEDEN
Aina and I had worked each summer to set up revival meetings in Sweden and Finland since 1971. We built up a mailing list containing thousands of names and we founded Swedish-American Evangelistic Crusades with about fifteen volunteers to handle the administration of our work. A fierce attack broke out in 1981 when I published Bibelns Budskap I De Yttersta Dagarna (The Bible’s Message in the Last Days) since it exposed Satanism, witchcraft, Freemasonry, and the Kabbalah.
I discussed Israel and Judaism and this attracted attention from the Mossad and a pastor in Sweden who worked with the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem.1 The end result was that most of the people in our mission organization received threatening phone calls in middle of the night from a man speaking English with a heavy accent. He stated he was with the Mossad and was now in Sweden to deal with John Torell. “If you want your wife and children to live, you must publicly denounce John Torell as an anti-Semite and stop working with him!”
I learned about these events when some of them tearfully contacted me and told me that they were going to denounce me. They knew what I had written was true and sought my forgiveness for what they were about to do. Nevertheless, their allegiance to family was stronger than truth and taking a stand for the Lord. They just wanted to protect their loved ones. This was about the time I asked my parents to join me in America as I knew they would incur the wrath of the Devil as well.
THE CURSES TOOK EFFECT
After Jean Nie was revealed to be a witch, we discovered another woman in the congregation was also a witch. She was ordered to leave and then we found out Sharon Hemker, the wife of a deacon, was having a homosexual relationship with another woman in the church. Both of these women divorced their husbands and moved to another state. The tension in the church grew stronger, and before she left, Sharon started an insurrection utilizing the church leadership. Our ministry in Sweden and Finland was demolished as the battle in the church intensified.
INCREDIBLE PRESSURE
One day in 1983, I was given an ultimatum by the elders and deacons that I could not preach unless the message was first approved by them. The demonic pressure on me was horrible as the church now turned against me. Aina and I decided we needed to hear from the Lord and so we went camping for a week in the Sierra Mountains. We only brought a tent, sleeping gear and water as we prayed and fasted over the matter. This is the message I received:
THE EVACUATION
I did not preach the next Sunday when we returned from the mountains. I knew who remained loyal and told them what God had spoken to me and Aina. Those that remained only numbered around 20 persons. All the EAEC printing equipment purchased prior to Christian Life Ministries was removed at 10 P.M on a Monday night when we knew no one would be in the building. It was an orderly evacuation that was finished in just a few hours. A storage unit was rented and the print press was deposited in the garage of Bob & Rita Jackson, the collator in the home of Ken & Nadine Walby, and Joe DiCarlo gave me an office at his business, of all places, Rancho Cordova where the fight with the witches had started.
A woman named Carol Jacobs wanted to start a publication that would serve the local church. In time, production morphed into a hard-hitting quarterly magazine called The Dove. I was the main writer and the topics dealt with prophecy, the Antichrist, and included research articles on the World Government and how the United States had been used to prop up the Soviet Union and build up industrial production in Nazi Germany. America was responsible for the growth of the Communists and the Nazis prior to World War 2. There were subscribers in almost every state and I received a lot of material from those who had been involved in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Even though we were geographically spread out, we were we able to pick up the printing and production of The Dove magazine almost at once. The weekly radio programs continued and so did our one-hour call-in program on Tuesday nights. Our staff in Rancho Cordova took the calls of the people calling in. I was stressed, bewildered, sad, angry, and depressed. Then my parents arrived to America in 1984 only to find their son’s church was a remnant, scattered and meeting in a private home on Sundays. It was a low point in my life.
A MELTDOWN
There was an EAEC board meeting in 1985 and it did not go well. Our finances were drastically down and it was increasingly difficult to meet the costs of the radio programs, my salary, and the production of The Dove. I suffered a meltdown shortly thereafter as the demons sent from the witches clouded my vision. I felt there was no hope. I was done!
In desperation I called the radio station and gave them a two weeks’ notice. Then I shocked Aina by telling our real estate agent, Joe Fry, to list our home on the market. When my parents discovered what I had done, they immediately called my brother, Peter, who in turn called Fry and countermanded my order. When Fry insisted on following through, Peter said he would drive up to Sacramento and deal harshly with Joe if he didn’t back off.
Peter then called me and stated I was to drive to his home later that week. He did not ask – it was an order that left no wiggle room. When I arrived, Peter was brutal and showed no mercy to me. He told me I was an emotional train wreck who had made some horrible decisions. God used him to snap me out of the deep depression. I repented to the Lord for my actions and asked Him to restore me. Upon returning to Sacramento, I called the radio station and rescinded my cancellation.
MURDER OF OLOF PALME
When Swedish prime minister was assassinated in in February of 1986, I was immediately blamed for Olof Palme’s murder. Up to this point, we maintained a mailing list in Sweden and Finland from our 1971 to 1983 summer revival meetings. I had exposed the Kabbalah and Freemasonry in the Scandinavian countries and was on the radar of the Swedish security police. Strangely enough, we were also being monitored and threatened by the Israeli Mossad. The way I communicated was through messages on audio cassette that were purchased by people on the mailing list. I made a recording in 1985 calling for Palme’s removal through prayer and fasting. He was an evil man and I appealed for him to be voted out of office.
The day after Palme’s murder, my telephone started ringing as different Swedish newspapers sought to interview me. I was featured on the front page with a picture of my book and cassette, “The Message of the Bible in the Latter Days.” These two items had been found in the home of a man arrested in connection with the murder. In a few days, the FBI showed up to question me about Palme. I knew nothing about the event except what I had read in the papers. I had just got out of depression, and when an FBI agent showed up a few days later to ask me about the murder, it sent me right back to that dark place.
Two years later, I received a call from the FBI field office in Los Angeles to let me know that a police detective wanted to speak with me. Evidently, the Swedish government had put in a request to the state department to question me about the murder of Olof Palme.
I knew my rights as an American citizen and that no foreign police can question me without my consent. The FBI agent asked if I would be nice and talk to the detective since he had traveled such a long way. I was curious as to what the Swedish police were doing and agreed to meet them at the church office with a witness.
On the day of the meeting, two FBI agents showed up with the Detective Soren Morberg. I seated them in my office with the FBI agents on the right, Morberg in front of my desk, and Pastor Gordon Ginn on the left side behind my desk.
Morberg showed a transcript of the preaching cassette that dated some six months before the murder of the prime minister. He then produced a written report of my life in Sweden from the day I was born until the day I immigrated to the United States. Upon examining the report, I realized that the police had spent a lot of time going through my history, the schools I attended, and they had spoken with a lot of people I knew.
It was a very detailed report and it was evident that Morberg was trying to intimidate me. He tried to interrogate me and question who I knew in Sweden and why I hated Olof Palme.
Instead of responding to his questions, I began to berate Morberg and the Swedish police for blaming the assassination of their prime minister on a preacher from California. I turned to the FBI agents and told them about the incompetence of the Swedish police, how they had arrested several people and were forced to release them for lack of evidence.
The more I spoke, the redder Morberg’s face became and it became clear the interview was not going any place and the FBI agents told Morberg it was time to leave. I had never seen a man so angry. I am sure the result would have been different had the meeting taken place in Sweden but there was nothing this foreign policeman could do in America. From that day forward, I was on the radar of the Swedish police and the FBI.
AN INTERVENTION
Carol Jacobs was a lady in our ministry and she was the one that had planted the idea about starting a magazine. Her husband, Jim, was a wealthy businessman and Carol talked to him about sending Aina and me to a three-day pastors’ conference at Oral Roberts University. She had been in our ministry for some six years and worked closely with me, as she edited my articles for the Dove. They paid for our airfare, car rental and lodging in June of 1986.
FINDING MYSELF
There were about 5,000 pastors attending the conference and some of the most well-known Pentecostal and Charismatic leaders had been invited to speak. While I enjoyed listening to the different speakers, God had some surprises in store for me.
Everybody left the ORU campus to get some lunch after the first session. Restaurants started to fill up as five thousand pastors and their wives filled the seats. I did not know the layout of Tulsa, so I kept driving until we reached the end of town and I realized the only place that remained was a pizza parlor. A rage filled me because I detested this type of food even though I had never before tasted it. I realize that was not rational, but it made sense to me in the moment. I childishly told Aina she could eat at this place since she liked pizza while I morosely drank my water and watched her enjoy the food.2
As I sat in the restaurant watching Aina enjoying her meal, it suddenly dawned upon me there was something wrong with me as my anger burned unabated. I had enough sense to pray and seek the Lord, so I went to a bathroom stall and closed the door. No sooner had I shut the door than the Holy Spirit convicted me over the fact that I had never cast out the demons of nicotine from when I was a smoker.
They had been in my body since I was 7 years old when I first stole a cigarette from my dad and smoked it. I quietly repented, renounced nicotine, and cast out the demons. It was like a floodgate was opened as a wonderful peace replaced the anger and rage. I returned to the table and contentedly sipped my water while Aina finished her lunch.3
I really enjoyed the rest of the conference and Aina was happy because the anger had left me and I was nice to her. The rest of the week in Tulsa passed by uneventfully as I sought the Lord’s guidance on what to do next. I was disappointed that my time at the conference came to an end and God did not respond to me.
FLYING HOME
On the return trip, the airplane was making its way over Texas to California. I sat next to the window and looked at farmland below when the Lord began speaking to me:
No one heard the voice since it was inside me but I instantly recognized the voice of the Lord from the many times He had spoken to me in the past. My silent reply pleaded with Him:
The message was adamant. “I want you to start another church in Sacramento.” I didn’t want to, but I also wanted to be obedient to the Lord. If I was going to start yet another church, what was to be its name? This was not a light question because names are important especially if I was going to start this endeavor. What was the name for this newly ordained church? The Lord responded, “Resurrection Life of Jesus Church.” No one, not even Aina, on the airplane knew that God had just spoken to a broken preacher and given him a new commission.
BIRTH OF A NEW CHURCH
June 29, 1986 was an exciting morning as Aina and I drove to the home of the Jacksons for the Sunday morning service. About sixty people had gathered and the living room was absolutely packed. I stood at the far end of the room to preach. I had prepared a paper with Resurrection Life of Jesus Church written at the top and it lay on the kitchen table prior to my preaching.
I shared what had taken place on the airplane. After I finished preaching, I told the group to sign the paper if they wanted to join this fledgling church as a charter member. When everyone had left afterwards, I went to the table and picked up the list and it brought me to tears when I saw that all the people present had signed it. Later that week we had a business meeting and elected officers and teachers in the new church.
FINDING A CHURCH BUILDING
As word spread through my radio programs that we had started a new church, more people started to attend and it became clear that we could no longer stay in a private home. Aina and I began to pray for God to open a door to a building. It had to be supernaturally since we were not flush with funds.
The voice from the airplane spoke to me as soon as I woke on August 29, 1986. The instructions were clear and yet unclear at the same time.
This was an area that I did not normally drive through. This was the time before cell phones were prevalent and people still relied upon pay phones when away from the house. After breakfast, I told Aina I was going to take a drive and I left. I did not know what I was looking for; I just knew that there was going to be something on the road. Suddenly I saw a new commercial building with a big sign out front. The moment I saw the sign, the Holy Spirit told me to write down the number, go home, and make the call.
I obediently returned home, and when I called the number, a man answered and asked if I was looking to rent that particular building. I was at a loss, but told him that I represented a church and we were looking for a place. The man said, “Come to the building and I will meet you there.”
Aina came with me this time, and when we arrived, we found the real estate man and he took us inside the building. It was a new commercial building, but the Holy Spirit told me this was not the place and I indicated to the man that this did not fit our needs. The salesman called the owner to see if he had another building that suited us.
It took less than thirty minutes until he drove up and I discovered his name was Danny Benvenuti. He was a wealthy developer/contractor that was a born again and a member of a Pentecostal church. I did not know that he and his wife had been listening to my radio programs. We visited another building and Aina and I both felt this was not the right location. Danny told us that he felt led to help us and said, “Find another place and I will make it into a church.”
MOVING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
A few days later Aina was out shopping and she drove past a building that was for rent. She wrote down the phone number and told me about it. We called the realtor and met him at the building. As we walked through the place, the Holy Spirit once again told us this is not the place. I conveyed this sentiment to the salesman and he said, “I should not do this, but I represent another customer and I believe that he has the building for you.” We followed him to a brand-new strip mall in Citrus Heights. The center of the building had never been developed. Its 3,000 sq. ft. was laid out in an L-shape with a courtyard in front. The Holy Spirit spoke as Aina and I stepped into the unfinished space.
CONTACTING DANNY
Aina and I returned home and I excitedly called Danny to tell him that we had finally found the place. He told us to meet him there in thirty minutes. When he arrived, Danny went through the unfinished section and said, “I will build you a church here.”
I drove to Danny’s office on September 5 for a meeting with him and his superintendent. I had been given a floorplan by the Holy Spirit and Danny agreed to build it. The church signed a five-year lease with the owner of the strip mall on November 13, 1986. Danny had an architect draw up a blueprint and submit it to the county and construction started in January of 1987.
Danny kept his word and paid for the entire process and we held a dedication service in our new church facilities on March 15 where Danny and his family were the guests of honor.
There was room for a print shop and we moved all our equipment that had been scattered in various garages to the new place. There was a nursey, Sunday school rooms, a front office, and an office for me. It seemed impossible, but out of the ashes had risen a new church with a beautiful facility. The entire effort was born in the heart of God, communicated to a broken preacher, and came to fruition through a Pentecostal contractor. This was truly a miracle from God and the church members rejoiced, knowing we were in the perfect will of God.
A VISIT FROM THE DEVIL
We are a Pentecostal church because we believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the sick and cast out demons. I was introduced to the latter part in 1970 when a fellow seminary student came for help. The short of the story is that I was acquainted with the reality of spiritual warfare as brought out by Jesus in the four Gospels.
From that point I started to educate myself about the existence of demons. I had written a series of books called “Christian Dynamics” that included a manual on casting out demons. A number of people were trained in this field and we had numerous people coming from other churches to be set free.
There was a big uproar in the church around 1994 caused by a man named Steve Beyler. He had been set free of demons and had become part of our deliverance team. One day he decided it was wrong to cast out demons and convinced some fifty other church members to side with him. They called for a business meeting to vote on the issue and their majority succeeded. As a result of the animosity from the split, my assistant pastor and I resigned and walked out.
The church building was leased by our parent mission organization, EAEC, and we closed the facility to Beyler’s dissenting members. A loyal remnant tried to keep the location, but the financial burden proved too great and a year later it was shuttered. The move of the God had been stolen by the Devil!
OUR TIME IN NORTH HIGHLANDS
North Highlands is a suburb of Sacramento County and we soon found a new home in an office complex. There was plenty of room for a sanctuary, offices, and the printing equipment used to produce The Dove. Our outreach was conducted through the church, weekly radio programs, and the magazine, which by now emphasized national politics, prophetic updates and the development of the future Antichrist system.
For ten years we exposed a number of Christian charlatans and/or infiltrators from the occult. The first one was Johnny Todd, who claimed to be a former witch. The second was Fritz Springmeyer, who apparently had ties to the CIA.4 The third was Carl Sanders, who traveled within in churches claiming to be the inventor of the microchip.5
THE HAMMER CAME DOWN
As I look back in my life, I realized that I have made a lot of enemies. When I began to pray for the sick and cast out demons in 1970, it did not set well with the Southern Baptist deans and professors. I was blacklisted and my records included a comment that I was not fit for ministry. When I confronted them over this slander, they had no legitimate reason than to cover up their unbelief.
When I began to write about Freemasons and expos them as a satanic cult in the late 1970s, a whispering campaign began in Sweden and in California and pastors were warned not to have any fellowship with me.
When the ministry took on Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game in 1982, it brought out the witches and different covens sued us for hurting their business. Our attorneys were able to have the lawsuit dismissed. The local newspaper tried to arrange a debate, but the event fell through when the moderators failed to show up.
When I exposed the Kabbalah and the Talmud in 1983, my book in Swedish was taken to Jerusalem. I was told by Kjell Sjöberg that a Swedish Lutheran priest acted as the courier and that he had an audience with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. From that day I was on the watchlist of the Mossad and this would explain why a man purporting to be from the Mossad began making threatening phone calls to our network in Sweden and coincided with the accusations of anti-Semitism about the same time.
My exposés of Fritz Springmeyer, Carl Sanders and Johnny Todd in 1990s grew the hate list and in the 2000s the ministry found itself listed on the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) website as a general hate group.
We were infiltrated by a federal agent named Gerry Tokarski around 1995. He and his wife joined our church and in a short time he ingratiated himself with the congregation. He was very helpful and visited needy families, mowed the grass, helped the elderly with shopping, and also took them to doctor appointments. He assisted in the printshop with The Dove and asked if I wanted to take my travel trailer and join him on a two weeks’ vacation along the north coast of California. Tokarski worked as a postal inspector in Sacramento and tried to show me the weapons issued to him along with stolen mail he had recovered.
The suspicious part of me wonders what would have happened if I had touched the guns and mail. What would have happened if my prints were found on these items? I felt a check in my spirit when he made the offer and this is why I had nothing to do with it.
After having been with us for some three years, he suddenly turned one day and told me that I was full of demons, that he knew what I was doing in secrecy, and how I was an impostor. I was shocked at the hate being projected and it had a ripple effect on the church. A number of people left and two years later we could no longer afford the rent. We closed down the location and the situation looked bleak when we moved back to the home of Rita Jackson. I took possession of the print shop equipment and wondered if this was going to be the end.
When the 9/11 attacks took place in 2001, I was friendly with my local postmaster and he told me that Gerry had gone back to the FBI to be part of the investigation. When I learned this news, I realized that Gerry had come to our church as part of a government assignment. The cynical person would say that his job was to destroy the ministry and eliminate me as a preacher. Whether you believe that or not, I received an unsigned letter from Gerry some three years later asking me to forgive him for the damage he had created. He didn’t know it, but I had already forgiven him.6
THE HOLE IN THE WALL
Back in 1976 when Aina and I first arrived in Sacramento, we started with a Bible study at the home of Bob and Rita Jackson. Twenty-five years later I was right back where I started. It was a very discouraging time. The satanic pressure was intense as we were always short of money and lived by faith from week to week.
A contractor in the church named Michael Gonzalez told me one day that his company had rented a building and that there was space for the church. It was a very small place and we consolidated two rooms into a sanctuary and there were three other small rooms, which we used for Sunday school and an office. It was such a small and unpretentious out-of-the-way place that we referred to the new facility as the Hole in the Wall.
We produced the last copy of The Dove in 2004. At its peak, there were some 11,000 subscribers, but the internet was allowing people to read online and we lost financial support for the magazine. In 1997 we got on the Internet with a simple website designed by Walter Gross and over the years it became our main outlet. In 2004 The Dove was replaced with a monthly newsletter that was posted online. We continued to use the mailing list to send out hard copies to people all over the United States.
I also persisted with the radio programs and slowly but surely new people came to church. Many of them came for deliverance and there was great joy when the demons were cast out and the person was free in the Holy Spirit. In 2005 it became clear that people were simply not listening to radio like they had previously done. The internet had taken over and I was forced to leave the terrestrial radio since it was growing increasingly expensive and we just did not have the ability to cover the expense. A year later we left the Hole in the Wall and moved to a new facility in Carmichael.
OUR TIME IN CARMICHAEL
In 1976 when Aina and I first arrived to the area, we founded Christian Life Ministries in Carmichael. I served as the pastor until heavy in-fighting caused a church split in 1983. Thirty years later, we were about four miles from the old one.
We rented the entire second floor from a contractor who had never developed it. The church leadership drew up a plan that had a sanctuary, lobby for our bookstore, kitchen, two bathrooms, and two rooms for Sunday school and deliverance sessions. Our floor plan was accepted and we were happy with the new facility. We immediately started to reach out into the community by going to shopping centers on Saturday mornings and handing out flyers.
The church grew slowly but was not largely populated with locals. There were a number of people who sought help to be freed from the demons that tormented them. Sermons continued to be recorded and distributed primarily through audio cassette and also posted online.
I was not able to shake off the label of anti-Semitism. I was known in the Sacramento area for having been on the radio for thirty years, but pastors kept repeating the unsubstantiated lie that I hated Jews. If pastors were caring, they could have tried to redeem me, but no one came, it was like I had leprosy and people were told to stay away from me.
The people who had been pillars of the ministry when we came to Sacramento in 1976 were gone now. This included my parents; my dad went home to be with the Lord in 1997 and mom passed away in 2005. Lois Amacher had been with us since 1988, serving as bookkeeper, editor, and webmaster of the website after Walter Gross passed away.
Charles Thorell joined the church in November of 1999. Over time he began to take more and more responsibilities until he became a vital part of the ministry. He became the primary editor, ran the website, edited the sermon audio, and served as the worship leader of Resurrection Life of Jesus. He met and married a wonderful woman in the church and today they have six children.
THE WEEKLY WEBCAST
If you don’t know that something exists, you’re not going to look for it. Well, God had to send me to David & Katie Wilson – not their real name – in upstate New York to receive a revelation.
Katie had lived in the Sacramento area during the late 1980s and was married an abusive man. There was a lot of violence and she asked me as a pastor to help her get away and return to her family in New York. I lost contact with Katie until she contacted me some fifteen years later and asked if I would fly out and stay a week for deliverance. During one of the evenings of talking with David and Katie, he asked why the ministry was not webcasting its services? If the sermon was streamed live, it could be watched in New York as a satellite with people gathered around the computer or television. It was like the proverbial lightbulb lighting up inside my head and I asked David how this could be carried out.
When I came home, I talked to Charles and asked him to explore webcasting for the church. He talked to some people in the church and told me it was feasible. I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit and told him to start working on the project. The next Sunday I made the announcement that we were going to start webcasting and it would take extra funds to get this project going.
We contracted with a company to design, install, and train us on the use of the equipment. People were excited and we had the volunteers needed to run this endeavor. We already had a recording booth and now it was converted to accommodate the new furniture, equipment, and cabling. It was exciting to see the cables, cameras, projector, computers, and see how it all came together.
The system was ready to go in December of 2008. The final cost of the project came to $42k and it was paid by the church members. Charles and the crew became proficient in a short time and the ministry progressed from terrestrial radio on three stations to an outreach that covers the whole world.
A NEW OFFICE BUILDING
Aina and I purchased ten acres some thirty miles north of Sacramento in 1990 after we were instructed by the Holy Spirit to sell our home in Sacramento and move north. The property consisted of a modest home and a three-car garage. The Holy Spirit woke me up in 1999 and showed me a large building. We had no inkling that eventually the entire ministry would be moved to this place.
Half of the building became our print shop and office and the other half became an apartment. We ran out of office space in 2005 and the Lord put a burden on me to erect another building. When it was completed, it featured a large room for my library that also served as a classroom.
There were two bedrooms for people that came from out of town for deliverance and a larger office area. I was very happy with the new setup and joyful to use it for the Lord. Little did I know there was a church split approaching, and when it occurred, God’s provision would allow us to convert the library/classroom into a studio that continues to serve its original purpose, just in a different way.
LOSING THE CARMICHAEL FACILITY
By 2013, a number of people in the church were not happy with Charles leading the worship. They wanted a younger man named Jason, who was part of the worship team. He had a natural talent and could sing and play the piano very well. Those who were not satisfied with the music began backbiting with other members.
The atmosphere became so poisonous that Charles acquiesced, turned it over to Jason, and no longer attended church. Those who were not dissidents became unhappy and it grew into a disastrous rift. Ironically, the people who wanted Charles removed, left the church soon thereafter, and I had to tell the landlord that we were closing down. It was a huge blow having yet another church destroyed by the Devil and people who listened to him.
THE RELOCATION
I was an emotional wreck again as Charles and my brother, Peter, took charge of the situation. With the few remaining men, they disassembled the webcasting equipment and vacated the church building. The library/classroom was converted into a studio within a few weeks. Charles had me to record four sermons before the Carmichael facility was dismantled and these messages were used in the interim until we were able to get up and running again. We have been webcasting from our chapel for a decade now.
THE DOVE
I have previously mentioned my involvement with publishing The Dove magazine. The last issue was printed in 2004. At its height, we had 11,000 subscribers scattered throughout the United States. Starting in 1990, the Holy Spirit told me to print an extra thousand copies of each issue because there would be a future demand for them. Thus, we have a limited inventory of these magazines going forward that deal with anti-Semitism, false prophets, formation of a one world religion, a showdown in Jerusalem, Identity movement, counterfeit anointings, church infiltration, God defeating the Devil, birth of a visible world government, and the Nazi-Zionist connection.
NEWSLETTERS
I began writing newsletters in 1998 and the last one was written in 2015. Initially I wrote a newsletter every month, but as the articles grew in size, we tried to produce one every quarter and toward the end there was one per year.
The Trail of Blood of Murder was a six-part series written in 2003 -2004 which dealt with assassinations and the different wars in the Middle East.
The Hidden Technology Transfer of 1947 covered the UFO crash in 1947 near Roswell and the subsequent government cover up. This event was responsible for an evolutionary leap forward in technology and the reason why we have microprocessors, lasers, fiber optics, super tenacity fibers, etc.
Dancing Around the Golden Calf was a powerful presentation of the Zionist movement and the preparations being made for the coming Antichrist.
DELIVERANCE MINISTRY
I revised and enlarged Christian Dynamics Course 1 from 2004-2010. This was the last time we used the offset presses. This book is a great help in our deliverance sessions instead of working with loose sheets. Numerous people have used the book to understand deliverance as described in the Bible and to help others in need as well.
In 2014, it became clear that I needed to address soul damage after observing the desperation of people who have come for help. Soul damage is a common denominator that is common regardless of age, gender, and life experiences. It can occur moments after conception and any time thereafter. Any type of trauma will damage the soul and open the door for sickness. The church today is weak because it is ignorant of spiritual matters and this is why most Christians don’t have the abundant life Jesus promised.
Around 2018, I grew tired of repeatedly explaining to those seeking deliverance how the God of the Old Testament and the Creator is none other than Jesus. Christians have precious little knowledge concerning the Old Testament and its covenants. They often fail to understand the covenant with Abraham is not the same as the covenant with Israel in the desert. The God of the Old Testament has been a great help for people to understand that Jesus is the Creator and the One who appeared to Adam, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Isaiah, Ezekiel, etc. In short, He is the God of the whole Bible.
THE KABBALAH BOOKS
Around 2012 the Lord laid it upon my heart to write a historical account of the insidious Kabbalah which dates back to the time of Moses. Of all the books and articles written over the years, this is the most important work since the Kabbalah is the religion of the people who will usher in the Antichrist. These books document how the Kabbalah has shaped mankind’s history and brought about the reinstatement of the political State of Israel in 1948.

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY
It took me ten years to write my autobiography titled My Life, My Calling, My Destiny. Our ministry did not have the capacity to edit and print this large book. A friend of mine in Los Angeles, Jerry Nordskog, owns a publishing company and he agreed make it happen in 2021. This 488-page book is not only the story of my life, but a history of my time on earth, having lived through the era of the Jesus Movement in the 1960-70s, the battle over abortion, church involvement in the Ronald Reagan revolution, and my encounter with the Internet and how that has changed outreach. I met false teachers such as Johnny Todd, Rebecca Brown, Fritz Springmeyer, and Carl Sanders. My life story is valuable as we move ever closer to the time of the Antichrist and millennials are ignorant of what took place in the 20th century.

ORIGIN OF JESUS
I believe The Origin Story of Jesus was a major accomplishment of my assignment on earth as a representative of Jesus Christ. I started preaching from the Gospel of Matthew in October of 2020. After preaching my tenth message, I was dissatisfied with my inability to explain Jesus’ geographical movement and thought process sufficiently so that Matthew’s account could be properly understood. I ultimately did not release the tenth preaching and this led me to research the historical setting at the time of Jesus because I wanted to know the origin of Jesus as laid out in the Scriptures. That necessitated data mining the entire Bible to glean as much information as possible and then present it in such a way that would lead to a full understanding of Jesus and why humanity needed redemption.
I came to understand that the physical world is a scaled down version of the spirit world. Humans have never invented anything; all we have done is discover what already exists in the spirit world. Electricity existed when Adam and Eve walked on earth even if they were ignorant of it. All the components needed to make automobiles, airplanes, computers, and a dishwasher existed on earth. There is nothing new on earth; it was all created and deposited over/under the surface of the earth at the creation.
The Bible tells us that God uses angels to accomplish certain acts on earth. I wanted to find every supernatural event recorded in the Old Testament and see the overall picture when I put them all together. I did not know how long this process would take.
I struggled with the concept of free will for many years. How could God provide humanity with a free will and also predestinate us before we are even born? The Holy Spirit showed me how mankind designs things in computers, and once the design is finalized, it is printed and put into production. This is the basis for the virtual time run as I envisioned the Godhead virtually designing the entire universe with angels and humans. We existed in this supercomputer and this allowed the Godhead to see precisely what decisions each individual would make after they were created. Thus, we had a free will in the virtual time run and the Godhead saw how we would use it. Eternity past came alive with this realization. I had many questions; some were answered, while others had to be deduced based upon God’s previous actions. I feel comfortable with this reasoning because God never changes and this means I can expect the Godhead to continue the same behavior.7
The following questions have no answer for now but I am confident they will be answered when we meet Jesus in heaven.
1. How is it possible for God to be unified as one and yet separate Himself into three individuals?8
2. What did the Godhead do in eternity past prior to the start of this creation?

It was not in me to preach this series of messages ten years ago. I simply did not have the knowledge or the understanding that I have now. It has been a Holy Spirit revelation process from the time I came back to Christ up to now. While it took me some 58 years to learn what I know today, you can have it much faster.
THE COMING ANTICHRIST
I celebrated my 84th birthday this year. I have been in the ministry since 1969. There has been an accumulation of knowledge during this time period. From my Southern Baptist background, I started as a strong Christian Zionist and I have been molded by the Bible and the Holy Spirit into a strong biblical preacher.
My spiritual understanding was initially shallow because I thought Jesus was born in Bethlehem. I can already imagine the cries of protest, but I would ask that you hear me out before you try to correct me. The Son of God was incarnated in Bethlehem and His body was born to a human woman. He didn’t have the traditional birth day as the rest of humanity. This is not possible since Jesus is God and the Son of God is eternal. If the Godhead dates back to eternity past, how can God be born. The answer lies in the incarnation. The physical body was born, but the divine part has no beginning.
Jesus is God and the Godhead is made up of the God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is eternal but He did not die on the cross. I can already see your eyes widening, but let me state while the physical body died, the divine part did not. Jesus left His physical body hanging on the cross while He went to Paradise for three days and nights. It was there that He preached to the inhabitants of hell and declared that atonement had been made for humanity, but those listening to His message had no part in it.
Jesus returned from Paradise on the third day and entered into the physical body resurrected by the Holy Spirit and showed Himself forty days. Afterwards, He ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I don’t know about you, but this was a big revelation!
A few years ago, the Holy Spirit opened my mind to the fact that heaven has a different way of keeping time.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The gist of it is that a day in heaven is equal to a thousand years on earth.
1,000 years = 1 day
1 day = 1,000 years
It made no sense when Jesus stated the Antichrist is going to rule the world for one hour.9 Think about it. What can you accomplish in one hour? Can you establish a global empire? Certainly not! But what if we established and performed the following calculations:
1 day = 24 hours
1,000 years / 24 hours = 41.67
1 hour in heaven = 41.67 earth years
According to Peter, an hour in heaven is the equivalent of 41.67 earth years. Adolf Hitler accomplished quite a bit with Nazi Germany in far less time. Imagine what the Man of Sin can do over a span of four decades! Jesus’ disclosure that the Antichrist going to rule for an hour now becomes stunningly real with the Holy Spirit’s revelation to Peter.
The Holy Spirit pointed me to the first chapter of the Book of Genesis and I came to understand that the first verse is the story of the creation and the second verse is an account of the refurbishing that took place after the pre-Adamic space war.10 This angelic conflict devastated the surface of the earth and caused it to be flooded.
This is where the second verse picks up the story. The six days of creation was a heaven time measurement and the equivalent of six thousand earth years. Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day and spent the seventh day in the Garden of Eden on the day of rest.
The first humans lived on the earth for more than a millennia before Eve was tempted by Lucifer. How many children did they have during this time period? We don’t know, but Cain was extremely afraid of retribution after murdering Abel. The traditional thought is that Cain was the first child born to Eve, but the Bible doesn’t make that claim, hence his fear and why God put a mark of protection on him. This revelation became so real that I decided to write The World That Was.
George Orwell wrote the classic book 1984 in 1949 and it is a text for the future World Federation under the Antichrist. One of his most well-known statements goes like this:
“Who controls the past controls the future:
who controls the present controls the past.”
When the Godhead laid plans for the creation in eternity past, I believe it was done via a computer simulation that allowed them to see the virtual time run. This is how God knows the future. He has already foreseen the events and they know exactly how things are going to play out. They decided there would be no redemption for the rebellious angels, but there would be salvation for the human race. This concept was hidden from me until I connected the dots.11
Since the Godhead was going to be opposed by Lucifer (the Devil), it was necessary to hide the redemption plan from him. The Godhead initially released information that there would be a redemption for the human race, but no details as to how it was going to be carried out.
Lucifer attempted to corrupt the human race by mingling angels with humans and creating a hybrid race that could not be redeemed prior Noah’s flood. When God prevented that from fully playing out with a global flood, he launched a political plan to take over the earth and set up a world government before the Godhead could launch their redemption plan. Satan picked Nimrod to build the Tower of Babel that would reach into heaven. The Godhead pulled the plug on the operation, removed the single language that everyone spoke, split people into new language groups, and scattered them all over the earth.12
Lucifer was forced to regroup and come up with an alternate plan. He decided to mimic the Godhead, and since they had chosen Abraham to be the father of the messianic bloodline, Satan also chose Abraham and his descendants.
The Godhead created a written work that served as the historical account for the redemption plan and it became known as the Old Testament. Lucifer created a counterfeit version which became known as the Kabballah. Later, a second set of books were created by Lucifer, which is known as the Talmud. The Kabbalah can be likened to a spear and the Talmud is a shield which distorts the Old Testament.
The Kabbalah was entrusted to a core group of renegade Luciferian men from among the twelve tribes of Israel and their secrets were passed from generation to generation. When Jesus walked on earth in the form of a man, He exposed the serpent worshipers and publicly called them out.13 But it was not until AD 90 that Jesus revealed Lucifer would usher in a false messiah prior to His second coming.
Just like the Godhead hid the full story of humanity’s redemption, Lucifer is now trying to hide his future plans for the human race. Satan worked through German theologians in the 18th and 19th centuries to destroy faith in God and discredit the Bible. Their pernicious doctrine was transferred to England and the United States as ministers attended German universities where these wicked men taught. German trained ministers began to teach at American seminaries by the early 1900s, and as a result, the majority of pastors in the United States have been taught the following fallacies:
• Isaiah did not exist; three different men wrote the account.
• Daniel never existed and his book was a forgery by Jews during the later Maccabean revolts. They wrote the book to inspire freedom for Israel.
• The Book of Revelation was written by the apostle John when he was imprisoned on Patmos. He wanted to write to his church at Ephesus, and in order to smuggle out the scroll, he wrote an allegory that the Romans would not understand.
Thus, three major books from the Bible have been declared of no value. Is it a coincidence that these same books expose the Kabbalah and the Antichrist system? I think not!
THE RAMIFICATION
The Antichrist will be a global dictator and rule from Jerusalem. At his side will be the False Prophet, who also serves as his financial minister. The sovereignty of nations will be abolished as they are merged into a World Federation. In order to control the population, each person will have a computer chip implanted in the right hand or in the forehead.
No one will be able to buy or sell without this mark of loyalty. Jesus stated that any person who takes the Mark of the Beast is bound for the Lake of Fire. This means that if a Christian takes the mark, he will forfeit his salvation. The Son of God means business because this mark is Lucifer’s equivalent to the redemption provided on the cross. There can be only one! No man can serve two masters.14
Since the majority of Christian leaders do not believe the Book of Revelation is a valid, people have no clue to what is coming, and when the Mark of the Beast is implemented, there will be no resistance because it will be marketed as something that will improve their lives.
The mark of loyalty is better and more
secure than credit cards or cash.
It will cut down on fraud.
I have warned about the false belief system found in churches, but the power of Lucifer is so prevalent that it is like using a thimble to put out a forest fire.
THE FUTURE
I feel like the apostle Paul when he was coming down to the end of his life. He started out in the wrong camp as a Pharisee and had been a vicious enemy of the Christians in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. He stood by and watched as Stephen was stoned to death and supervised a goon squad to enter homes and brutally arrest Christians, knowing they were going to be killed.
Then he met the Son of God on the road to Damascus. Jesus converted one of Lucifer’s most powerful chess pieces and used that same tenacity for the growing church. It would not be an understatement that Paul became the most influential apostle of them all. I met Jesus as a young boy. Then I met Him second time in 1965 and the Son of God rearranged my life to serve Him.
It is one thing to have knowledge and it is another to have it recorded as text for future generations.
Paul’s epistles are as fresh today as they were some 2,000 years ago. His writing to the Romans was a seminal work used by God to spark the reformation in the 16th century. All his writings are used by Christians around the world and they are just as relevant today as the day they were written. Can you imagine if angels had made recordings of Paul in the different churches and we could watch these videos today?
SPIRITUAL TRAINING CENTER
Resurrection Life of Jesus Church has a spiritual library consisting of audio and video recordings, along with books and articles covering everything a Christian entering the time of the Antichrist needs to know. Our ministry has a library of some 6,000 books dealing with secular history and political and military events from 1900 and onward. We have different sets of old encyclopedias that allows you to see what has been removed from history books, political writings, biographies from the time of the Jesus revolution in 1960-70s as well as commentaries on different books in the Bible. Over the years from 1970-1995 we have boxes of newspaper clippings containing information that can be accessed for research.
All the knowledge that we have accumulated for the last 58 years will be worth more than gold when the forerunners to the Antichrist begin to revise history or simply remove knowledge of past events.
Technology is a prized commodity as spies from other nations pay large sums to get their hands on the latest innovation. This ministry can offer spiritual knowledge, historical knowledge, counseling and deliverance. A lot of our spiritual knowledge is available on our website for free and much of it has been processed and is ready for immediate shipping. We are available to take people through deliverance so they can pass it on to someone else in need. Jesus said, “Freely you have received, freely give.” That’s what we’ve been doing for decades.

The Christian Dynamics series of books are designed to promote spiritual growth under the tutelage of a counselor or on your own.
WHAT WE NEED MOST
We are a handful of Christians, some remotely, that are serving the Lord. We need two things in order for us to make an impact – people and funds. Skilled people can’t work for free, nor do we want them to. Recruiting the kinds of professionals needed takes finances. We have a lot of unfinished projects languishing. We are holding the line so to speak, but don’t have the manpower to do more. We are like a hospital in the greater Sacramento area. People come for help, but nobody wants to stick around and join our effort.
The Gospel is free and we never charge those seeking spiritual help, but it takes people willing to invest in the Kingdom of God to make something happen. The downturn of the economy after COVID-19 hurt everyone. We have seen the trend and know that giving is down 50%. Some people are hurting so badly that they stopped giving entirely. There are also those who have passed on to heaven. I am well aware that some do not like my strong preaching and there will always be naysayers who have no intention of doing anything other than complaining.
To get our ship in good shape, we need more donors to replace those we have lost. There are thousands watching our videos and reading our material. If you like what we’re doing, would consider investing with us?
A FINAL REFLECTION
As I wrote this historical review of Resurrection Life of Jesus Church I was flooded with memories – good and bad. God commissioned me to start Resurrection Life of Jesus Church, and when I obeyed, He moved in the supernatural and connected me to a wealthy builder. This man miraculously offered to fund the church facilities and then the Lord sent in new people that made it possible for us minister on such a scale not previously seen.
The church is now 38 years old and we have suffered five church splits and have lost four facilities. With a maximum attendance of 120 persons, we were never a megachurch, and now we have dwindled to a core group of 14 persons. We have a larger number of cyber members watching the webcast than people physically present.
As a pastor I have invested thousands of hours ministering to people, counseling, casting out demons, marriage counseling, visiting prisoners, and helping the unfortunate. I don’t know, but for some reason it seems that the more time, effort, and money I devote to people, the more they hate me in return. The people with the least amount of effort seem to be the most appreciative.
I am approaching the same mental state just prior to the pastor conference in Tulsa so many years ago. When I am around some people, I feel that they consider me senile and that I can’t do anything right. I have never been more criticized than I am right now. For the first time in my life, I am beginning to understand what the prophet Jeremiah went through.
Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.
Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.
And let that man be as the cities which the Lord overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;
Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.
Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
Jeremiah knew from the Lord that the Kingdom of Judah was coming to an end. God had shown him the Babylonians were coming to destroy the beloved city of Jerusalem and its temple, and take most people into captivity. But God put in the heart of the King Nebuchadnezzar to spare Jeremiah and leave him with a remnant. The Lord had a ministry after the disaster and Jeremiah continued to be faithful to God until the Jewish leadership killed him in Egypt.
THE ANTICHRIST IS COMING
We are now facing the time of the Antichrist. Life under this régime will mark an end to the way Christians have lived and operated. We will be homeless and cut off from society. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of loyalty. As such, there won’t be any church buildings. The internet will be monitored and censorship will be rampant. Persecution will be unprecedented as the Beast system cracks down on dissenters.
I have a choice right now. I can mourn over what I have lost or to suck it up and continue to fight Satan as long as God gives me breath. I have chosen to oppose the Devil until I am called home to heaven. Many people have hurt me and been destructive over the years. The apostle experienced the same thing.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
THE DEFEAT AT DUNKIRK
In chess, a fork is a tactic in which a piece threatens multiple pieces of the opposing player simultaneously. The attacker usually aims to capture one of the forked pieces. The defender often cannot counter every threat. A fork is most effective when the attacker puts the opposing player’s king in check and the defender loses the other forked piece. Essentially, a fork is a type of double attack.
This is what took place in the Battle of France on the western front in May of 1940. The Nazi war machine used its airplanes, tanks, and troops to eviscerate the British/French defensive lines. The military planners in London realized their troops were no match for the new type of warfare being employed by the Germans. They were left with the option of British troops surrendering in France or trying to slow down the Germans advance and evacuate what was left of the British, French, Dutch and Belgian forces. Everyone knew that the battle was lost but a rear-guard action was needed if any evacuation was going to take place.
It was an act of God that Gerd von Rundstedt, the commander of the German army, halted the Germans from taking the city of Dunkirk. He and his staff felt they needed to consolidate their lines to hinder a possible Allied counterattack. They overestimated the opposition and their three-day pause allowed the Allies to build temporary defenses around Dunkirk.
Prime Minister Winston Churchill simultaneously took to the radio and asked anyone with a boat to take part in the evacuation. A total of 861 ships – navy and civilian – took part in the rescue operation. The Allied forces at Dunkirk numbered around 400,000 men. More than 60,000 men were killed or captured so that some 330,000 could make it to the safety of England. It was a total loss in terms of equipment as tanks, vehicles, field guns and small arms were abandoned. The ragtag collection of ships that carried Allied troops away saw nearly a hundred of their number destroyed.15
FOUR YEARS LATER
The Allies licked their wounds and slowly built a stockpile of men and arms with which to launch a counterattack. The blow was struck four years later on June 6, 1944. The overwhelming force consisted of 326,000 American, British and Canadian soldiers storming the beaches of Normandy from more than 3,000 landing craft. They were supported by 2,500 ships, 500 naval vessels, and 13,000 aircraft. By end of June, the beachhead was firmly established with 858,000 Allied soldiers, 150,000 tanks and vehicles, and 104,000 tons of supplies. If was the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.
WE ARE AT DUNKIRK
Satan and his minions have been relentlessly advancing against the church of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Jesus has ceded the earth to the Devil for a season. All Christians are fighting a rear-guard operation as the Antichrist system grows continually stronger. Our goal is simple – win people for Christ! A heavenly evacuation will eventually occur, but this won’t take place until the end of the Tribulation period, and that means we must be prepared for a protracted bare-knuckle fight because we aren’t going to receive any mercy from the enemy of our souls.
We know Jesus has a counter-invasion planned – it is known as the second coming of Christ.16 The Antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire, Satan will be bound for 1,000 years, and Jesus will reign in the millennial kingdom.17
FIGHTING FOR JESUS
You and I exist on the earth because this is precisely where God wants us. We were not born in a previous century. This is our time and place. It is an honor to be chosen by God to live at this time in history.18 Every generation has the opportunity to do something and we have the privilege to oppose the Luciferian forces and rescue the perishing.19 This is our time to shine and praise the Lord as we represent Jesus in this war!
I am going to leave you with the account of King Jehoshaphat when he was threatened by a massive army. The king of Judah had a large army of his own, but the force coming against him was so overwhelming that it was like trying to use a squirt gun to put out a forest fire. God told him not to worry about the situation because the battle was the Lord’s responsibility. Jesus wanted His people to place their focus solely on praising Him and the beauty of His holiness. He would take care of the rest.
It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,
And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,
If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.
And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;
Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.
And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord.
And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
And when he had consulted with the people,he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.
