The Gospel of Matthew Part 87
Jerusalem was the focal point in A.D. 33 with a huge presence of holy angels from heaven. Satan marshaled his fallen angels to skies over Jerusalem and demons saturated the city and its surrounding areas.
Both the ungodly Jewish leadership and Lucifer started a countdown for when the God-man predicted He would rise from the dead. The apostles were demoralized by Judas’ betrayal, the kangaroo trial, the brutal scourging, and the crucifixion. Yet at the appointed time, an angel of the Lord came to the tomb and rolled away the stone.
His power was so great that it caused an earthquake and the Roman soldiers guarding the grave were petrified with fear. The Holy Spirit entered the sepulcher and the mutilated corpse of Jesus was supernaturally refurbished.
The Son of God came from Paradise and entered into the body made alive by the Holy Spirit, and what took place next, was only seen in the spirit world as Jesus crushed the head of the Devil in fulfillment of prophecy.
