THE DESTINY OF THE HUMAN RACE

THE MAKEUP OF A HUMAN
According to the Bible, a human being is born with a physical body that contains a soul. The physical body is a vehicle in which the soul dwells.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)

Jesus created the physical body of Adam and then inserted his soul. The soul is not allowed to operate on earth without a physical body. The moment the body dies, the soul is removed by angels for judgement.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)

There are only two places for the soul to go to after death. Prior to the resurrection of Jesus, it was paradise or hell.

“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” (Luke 16:19-23)

Paradise was emptied when Jesus ascended to heaven forty days after the crucifixion.

“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11)

“Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)” (Ephesians 4:8-10)

THE HUMAN BODY
The human body does not have a personality of its own. It has no emotions and merely serves as a vehicle for the soul to inhabit. Thoughts do not originate in the physical brain; all such activity take place in the soul brain. The body is like an automobile; its behavior depends upon the driver. A poor driver can reflect negatively upon the car and vice versa. The soul needs a physical body to operate on earth.

The physical brain is a marvelous computer built with protein, fat and water, that is designed to run the functions of the body. When the body dies, so does the brain and it ends up in the grave or is cremated with the body.

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” (1 Corinthians 15:50)

Since the soul is from the spirit world, it cannot partake in the physical sinning on earth, and compensates by using the physical body to participate. The feelings and gratification received from drugs and alcohol is conveyed to the soul from sensors in the body. Likewise, any sexual pleasure registers in the brain and the feelings are transferred to the soul. The pleasure of sinful activities is experienced by the soul brain and the soul gets addicted to harmful activities such as drugs, fornication, porn, etc.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:7-9)

Jesus made it clear that all sinful matter originates with the soul.

“And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” (Matthew 15:10-11)

JESUS IS THE CREATOR
Jesus is the Creator of the universe which we inhabit.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)

GOD’S LAWS FOR THE HUMAN RACE
The soul is the real human being. It originates from the spirit world and has a torso, arms, legs, and a face with eyes, ears, nose, mouth and a brain containing the talents and skills of a human being. The soul is incapable of communicating with God and this is the reason the spirit component is included. The spirit has the capacity to communicate with God and understand spiritual matters.

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:12-14)

“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” (Revelation 6:9-11)

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-10)

Adam and Eve were triune because they were created in the image of God. They had physical bodies, souls, and spirits. When they sinned, their spirits died, and the souls were infected with the sinful nature that has since passed to all humans.

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12)

BORN AGAIN-SAVED
What is required to attain the goal of heaven? Jesus stated that it was necessary to be born again.

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” (John 3:1-7)

A person is born again by repenting of sin and making Jesus their Lord and Savior.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)

THE ETERNAL LAWS
The First Law
Jesus designed each soul before the foundation of the world. A soul comes into existence when it is united with the spirit and physical body as a result of the sexual union between a man and woman and the resulting conception. The spirit dies instantly because of the sinful nature that exists as a result of Adam’s sin and the soul is also negatively affected.

The Second Law
A soul has no control over when it is going to be merged with the life resulting from a sperm and egg. Jesus knows that a life conceived by a pagan has a much smaller chance to be born again. Is that fair? Yes, because Noah and his sons failed to set up an educational system for future generations. Their inaction is not God’s fault and their action continues to negatively affect humanity thousands of years later.

The Third Law
Once a soul is created, it is eternal and cannot die or cease to exist. The maximum allotted time on earth is 120 years.

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3)

Jesus made a provision for the human race by which He paid for the sins of humanity on the cross. Those who lived prior to the crucifixion were saved by their faith in the coming Messiah. We are saved by our faith in the Messiah that came. Either way, everyone is saved by faith.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Fourth Law
When the physical body of a Christian dies, holy angels take the soul to heaven. He is given a court date at the Judgment Seat of Christ where he will be judged for the life he lived on earth and given his eternal position in heaven.

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8)

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (1 Corinthians 3:11-15)

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” (2 Corinthians 5:10-11)

The Fifth Law
When the physical body of an unbeliever dies, holy angels take his soul straight to hell, where he is held under torment until the Great White Throne Judgment, when he will be judged for his life on earth. Once he has been judged and sentenced, he is immediately cast into the Lake of Fire to serve out his eternal sentence filled with torment.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” (Luke 16:19-24)

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11-15)

Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
