What Is Your Perspective?

Emotions are one of the greatest strengths of mankind and at the same time they are the most vulnerable part of humanity. Emotions have the ability to joyfully take us to the mountaintop and bring us down to the valley of despair. Each day you are required to make a decision that ultimately leads in one of two different directions:

1. Adopting Lucifer’s program John 10:10a

2. Embracing God’s program verse 10b

Perspective is important because it allows:

◦ a photographer to take a great picture.

◦ a businessman to pursue an idea.

◦ a man to select a virtuous wife.

◦ parents to make good choices for their children.

◦ you make Jesus your Lord and Savior.

◦ you to be a soul winner.

◦ you to recognize and avoid the Mark of the Beast.

Perspective allows you to recognize that you are the sum total of your decisions. The choices you make will define the foundation that your life is built upon. Matthew 7:24-27

Ponder the following scenarios:

◦ Did you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior because you loved Him or because you didn’t want to go to hell?

◦ Is your joy tied to money, power, fame, and earthly possessions?

◦ Have you considered that engaging in sexual encounters outside of marriage will bring soul ties and can lead to pregnancy and possible STD’s?

◦ Have you considered the fact that an abortion doesn’t just kill a baby, but condemns the future generations of that child?

◦ If you divorce your spouse, do you know that it will tear the family apart and destroy the union that God has blessed?

The Devil knows how to manipulate and overcome humanity with actions and emotions that are appealing to the soul. Galatians 5:15-21

The fruit of the Spirit reflects God’s character and we need to keep in step with the Holy Spirit if we want to grow spiritually. verses 22-26

Your purpose in life is simply to seek out what God wants for your life. Jesus doesn’t want you trying to figure out how to survive in this world. That’s His job; He’s taking care of you. Matthew 6:25-34; 10:29-31

Remember to include God in your life. You will be judged by your words and actions.  Ecclesiastes 12:1, 13-14; Galatians 6:7-9

Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
