PART 58: THE HELL GOSPEL

THE DEMISE OF ISRAEL
The Hezekiah revival was in its fourth year when the final blow fell on Israel. God had warned the people since the day of Moses that they would lose the land if they embraced pagan worship. 2 Kings 18:9-12
It was God’s intent to bless them. Deuteronomy 28:1-14
But if the people insisted on rejecting the love of God, He would respond in kind and utterly destroy them. verses 14-35; 60-68
While there is no record in the Bible, I believe the men and women who came to Jerusalem to repent and worship, fled south during the Assyrian invasion and found refuge in Judah. The prophet Isaiah lived during this time and he wrote that God is merciful to those who repent. Isaiah 55:6-7
NORTHERN KINGDOM’S DESTRUCTION
Any Christian who reads the Old Testament and the subsequent destruction of Israel cannot help but wonder what made God so angry that He allowed the northern kingdom to be destroyed by the Assyrians. If Jesus loved them, why did He reject the nine northern tribes? Deuteronomy 7:6-15
I have yet to hear a pastor or theologian provide a doctrinally sound explanation.
EXPLOSIVE SECRET
Israel had nineteen kings during a 226 year time period. What caused the kings, aristocrats, and the people to worship Baal, to sacrifice their children on the altars of Moloch, and to dance and fornicate at the high places? Why were they so evil? What was wrong with them?
There was a Luciferian gospel prevalent among the twelve tribes dating back to the time they were in Egypt. This other gospel is unknown to the vast majority of pastors, theologians, and church leaders. It is an explosive secret that will destroy the reputation of any Christian leader if he discovers it and dares to shine light upon it.
SECRET KNOWLEDGE
This hell gospel is known as “secret knowledge” among its practitioners. The Hebrew word for the hell gospel is “Kabbalah” and it is a malevolent rabbit trail of spiritual confusion.
Merriam-Webster defines Kabbalah as a medieval and modern system of Jewish theosophy, mysticism, and thaumaturgy (magic) marked by belief in creation through emanation and a cipher method of interpreting scripture.
The nine northern tribes were conquered and removed from the land by the Assyrians. Over time they assimilated with the local population and now we refer to the offspring of Abraham as “Jews.”
The southern kingdom consisted of two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, plus a remnant from the northern tribes who escaped to Judah. They have been lumped together and are collectively known as Jews.
CORE TEACHING OF THE KABBALAH
The Kabbalist’s believe that when god was in the process of creating the universe, he became confused and a portion of him fell down into a bottomless abyss deep under the surface of the earth, where it took the form of a serpent. This “holy serpent” is considered to be the redeemer and messiah of their belief system.
When Moses went up into the mountain to meet God, he met the “bad god,” but the 70 elders at the foot of the mountain met the “good god” known as Lucifer.
The 70 elders discussed with Lucifer how the messiah could get out of the abyss and they were told it could be accomplished in two ways:
1. Make all people on earth good. (High Road)
2. Make all people on earth evil. (Low Road)
These elders decided it was easier to make everyone evil and they chose the low road. A new doctrine was written and they began to teach the people of Israel this pernicious gospel.
One of the key elements of the Kabbalah involves sinning. While the Bible condemns sin, the Kabbalah glorifies it! The more you sin, the more you serve god. Sinning helps usher in the messiah from the abyss to establish his kingdom on earth. The holy serpent will enslave the earth and install the twelve tribes as rulers under him.1
The first king to openly embrace the hell gospel was King Solomon. He also enhanced the writings of the Kabbalah and set in motion the movement that in time would capture the kingdoms of Israel and Judah and bring about their destruction.
Jesus openly spoke about the Synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9; 3:9
He also identified the system that is called 666. Revelation 13:16-18
Solomon’s Kabbalistic number was 666. 1 Kings 10:14, 18-20
MY REVELATION
You’re probably wondering how I learned about the hell gospel? I graduated from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 1973 with a Master’s Degree of Divinity.2 At that time I believed in a pre-tribulation rapture, was a big fan of Hal Lindsey, and an ardent supporter of the political state of Israel. I knew about Israel from the Old Testament writings, but I had no knowledge as to what happened to the Jews after the Book of Acts. There were no classes offered by the seminary on the subject.
I have coined the saying, “If you do not know that something exists, you are not going to look for it.” I was relatively ignorant about Judaism, its history outside the Bible, and I was confident that God had re-founded Israel in 1948.
I was introduced to a conservative Baptist pastor named Gordon Ginn in 1977. We became good friends even though I was a Pentecostal preacher. One day Gordon confronted me about my beliefs concerning the pre-tribulation rapture.
I was shocked and felt he was possessed by demons, but Gordon calmly told me to do a deeper study on the subject and pointed out several passages of scripture I had not previously given much attention.
In time, I grudgingly had to admit that Gordon was correct. He then asked if I knew about the Jewish writings of the Talmud and the Kabbalah. The names were completely unfamiliar and I felt like asking if they should be eaten with a spoon or a fork.
If you do not know that something exists, you are not going to look for it.
I became curious and started seeking information about these two Jewish writings and this is how I discovered the hell gospel.
Some three years later I was a speaker at a series of revival meeting in Finland when I met Kjell Sjöberg, a Swedish Pentecostal pastor. I had just finished a Swedish book entitled, “The Bible’s Message in the Last Days” and asked him to review it.
The next morning he excitedly told me that he had been up all night reading my book. “If it is true what you have written in this book, it will change my entire view of the world and the Bible. Give me six months to prove if you are right or wrong.”
When Kjell contacted me at the appointed time, our communication consisted of letters and phone calls. This took place in 1982-83 and there was no internet at the time. He had spent time at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and discovered there was a department of the Kabbalah headed by professor Gershom Scholem, considered to be the foremost scholar of the Kabbalah.3
Kjell informed me it was much worse than what I had written in my book. He found three books by Scholem and strongly recommended that I buy them. He told me they were written in English and would open my eyes to understand what happened to the people of Israel before Jesus came to them. I purchased the books was shocked by the insidious religious teaching contained therein.4
I was given a textbook of Jewish history in seminary that was used by different Jewish learning centers in the United States.5 I dug it out and for the next few years cross referenced the information. This provided me with a solid understanding of the Kabbalah and why God was so angry with the descendants of Abraham.
Once the Internet was up and running in 1990, I was able to learn about Kabbalistic synagogues in the United States. I discovered the Chabad Lubavitch synagogue system was the most well-known Kabbalistic system in the world and Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson was considered the messiah. He was still alive at the time (1902- 1994) and had been invited to the White House several times with his staff of rabbis.
Members of the Chabad regularly visit his grave in New York and pray that he will soon be resurrected and begin to rule as the messiah.6
KABBALAH IN THE BIBLE
The prophet Isaiah was active during the last years of the northern kingdom of Israel and he called out the followers of the Kabbalah. There were other prophets doing the same thing.
• Calling good evil and evil good. Isaiah 5:18-21
• Covenant with death. Isaiah 28:14-18
• Working in the dark. Isaiah 29:15
• Trusting in lying words. Jeremiah 7:4-9
• A conspiracy is found. Jeremiah 11:9-10; Ezekiel 22:24-31
• Swearing falsely. Hosea 10:4
• Seek good and not evil. Amos 5:14-20
• Generation of vipers. Matthew 3:7-8; 12:34
1. The Kabbalah books written by Pastor John Torell provide a good understanding of the hell gospel.
2. The seminary changed its name to Gateway Seminary when it relocated to Los Angeles in 2016.
3. He was born 1897 in Berlin and died 1982 in Jerusalem.
