LITTLE IS MUCH ATTITUDE
God is always with us. Small and seemingly insignificant resources can accomplish great things when God is part of it. This is where we get the saying, “Little is much when God is in it.”
MOSES
Moses carried a rod which he used when tending Jethro’s flock and it turned into a serpent. Exodus 3:1; 4:1-3
The Nile River was turned to blood when struck with Moses’ rod. Exodus 7:14-18
Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven and brought hail and fire. Exodus 9:22-26
The same rod was used to deliver the Israelites from bondage when they crossed the sea to escape Pharoah’s army. Exodus 14:15-16
Moses struck the rock per God’s instructions. Exodus 17:5-7
RESPONDING TO GOD’S CALL
Isaiah responded to God’s call for help despite his inhibitions. Isaiah 6:1-8
Jeremiah was called into ministry despite his protestations that he was young and did not know the right words. Jeremiah 1:4-10
A BOY’S LUNCH
In the hands of Jesus, one boy’s lunch – five loaves and two fishes – fed 5,000 men, plus the women and children. John 6:1-13
REALITY
It is possible for rivers of living water to flow out of you. John 7:37-39
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was to empower the church. Acts 1:6-8
Jesus delights in our reliance upon Him. Common everyday things become something extraordinary when God intervenes. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
Don’t be afraid to use the resources Jesus has bestowed upon you.
• You may have an abundance of resources that can be used for Jesus.
• Conversely, you may feel weak and inadequate, but you can still pray for people and situations.
The Bible is full of ordinary men whom God used to do unexpected and astonishing things. Little becomes much when God is in it! John 8:31-32
Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
Do you have an ear to hear with?
