THE ORIGIN STORY OF JESUS
PART 78: GOG’S ARMY

TWO WEEKS
The Godhead paused the virtual time run once again. God the Father had previously stated that He would prove His righteousness over the course of fourteen days. Seven days had been used to refurbish the earth and set up Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Lucifer would be provided with six days to do his work and try to prove that he is right. Genesis 2:1-3
On the fifth day (approximately 4,116 days after Adam sinned), Jesus would enter the world to perform His redemption work. The time allotted for the Son of God’s earthly ministry would be 33 ½ earth years, which is less than one hour of heavenly time.
One day is with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The revelation to Peter was a fulfillment of God’s promise to Daniel, effectively allowing us to convert eternity time into earthly time. 2 Peter 3:8
We can deduce God’s eternity time by dividing 1,000 years by 24 hours:
• One hour with God is 41.67 years for man.
• One minute with God is 8 months and 8 days for man.
• One second with God is 3 days and 22 hours for man.
Lucifer would be given one hour (41.7 earth years) to set up his global federation. Revelation 17:10-13;
At the end of the sixth day, Jesus will return to the earth and destroy Lucifer’s federation and bind him for 1,000 years (one heavenly day) and cast him into the bottomless abyss.
The Devil was allowed to tempt Adam and Eve at the end of the seventh day, and in like manner, Satan will be set free to tempt all the people born during the millennial reign of Jesus on the seventh day. Revelation 20:7-9
There will be a final earthly world war when Jesus exterminates the rebellious humans with fire and Lucifer and his fallen angels are finally thrown into the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:10
This leads to the Great White Throne Judgment where Jesus will judge everyone kept in hell. Those names not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire prepared for the Devil and his fallen angels. Revelation 20:11-15
The Godhead was in agreement with the plan. They decided to release a prophecy to Ezekiel that would outline the last war on earth. The message would not be fully understood until Jesus brought the apostle John to heaven in the future for a fantastic revelation.
Ezekiel’s prophecy would serve as a warning to the people who would be alive during this time period so they could make an informed decision as to whether or not they would want to join with Lucifer.
THE PROPHECY
The first thing we need to do is to establish what is north, south, east and west. The reference point in the biblical prophecies is Jerusalem. That is point zero. All locations are measured from Jerusalem.
There are a lot of nations surrounding Jerusalem and Gog is going to marshal forces to converge upon Israel from the south, west, east, and the north. I believe that Gog is the archon over Russia with a vast territory stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Russia has existed as a nation since 900 A.D., and during the last 1,100 years, it has evolved into a superpower that threatens its surrounding neighbors.
Therefore, I believe that Magog refers to Russia and that Gog is a prince (fallen angel, archon) that rules this land. Ezekiel 38:1-2
There are fallen angels – also known as princes and archons – ruling over nations. Daniel 10:12-13, 20-21
It is my belief there is a fallen angel (archon) that is in charge of each nation throughout the world. His job is to carry out Lucifer’s orders. Under the archons are less powerful fallen angels and under them are evil spirits (demons) of different ranks. Ephesians 6:11-13
LUCIFER’S TRIAL
If a Christian is not familiar with the biblical teaching that Lucifer rebelled against God before Adam and Eve were created, it is impossible to comprehend Ezekiel’s prophecy in conjunction with the apostle John’s revelation.
If this is new, let me provide you with a brief recap:
• Satan rebels against God. Isaiah 14:12-21
• There is a war in the universe. Revelation 12:7-12
• While we do not have a direct reference to Lucifer’s trial, Jesus told us that the Lake of Fire had been prepared for Lucifer and his fallen angels. This indicates there was a trial prior to the sentencing. Matthew 25:41
• Logic would dictate that if there was a trial and a guilty verdict was issued, but Satan is still on the earth, he must have appealed the decision and received a stay of execution. Paul’s letter to the Romans tells us that God is proving His righteousness. Romans 3:23-26
• We know there is a courthouse in the spirit world. Job 1:6-12; 2:1-3;
• Lucifer appealed his sentence to the Lake of Fire and accused God of being unrighteous. God responded by creating Adam and Eve to prove His righteousness while Lucifer is doing all that he can to undermine and sabotage God plans for the human race.
• Only the Godhead knew about the project of Jesus dying on the cross and paying for the sins of humanity. The angels and mankind were kept in the dark until the big reveal. 1 Corinthians 2:6-8
BACK TO THE PROPHECY OF EZEKIEL
God told Ezekiel that He was against the archon Gog and that Jesus will force him to go to war in the in the far future. The Son of God goes on to list Gog’s coalition. Ezekiel 38:3-6
These nations have been conquered by Gog. verse 7
This event will take place even though it is now some 2,590 years old. The target of this attack is the nation of Israel and the following conditions will exist at this time:
1. The land of Israel has been refurbished from the destruction of wars. It is not barren, but the natural beauty of the land has been restored with lush vegetation upon the mountains. The inhabitants are safe and secure and there are no threats from surrounding nations. verse 8
2. Gog and his armies will come like a storm, having evil thoughts in his mind from Lucifer who has been traveling all over the earth to make ready for a last attack on Jesus and His government in Jerusalem. verses 9-10; Revelation 20:7-8
UNWALLED CITIES AND NO GATES
Ezekiel’s description of the Promised Land does not match the situation in Israel today. The nation is replete with checkpoints and walls. The homes are heavily fortified, the doors are secured with bars and locks, security cameras abound, and yet Jews are killed every week by Palestinians.
I want to stress that Ezekiel’s prophecy only deals with the end of the millennial kingdom where there is peace, security, and prosperity. verses 11-14
The horrible attack by Gog will come in the latter days toward the end of the world. verses 15-17
The invasion of Israel will end in disaster for Gog and his armed forces. verses 18-23
Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
Do you have an ear to hear with?
