GUIDING ISAAC
As the Godhead continued with their virtual time run, they looked not only at the development of the bloodline, but also to the surrounding nations.

When Sarah died at the age of 127, Isaac was 37 years old, and Abraham was getting up in age. The Godhead did not want Isaac to marry a Canaanite woman or any of the servant women that were part of the Abraham’s labor force. They decided put it on Abraham’s mind to send for a woman from the family of Terah. Genesis 24:1-9

Nahor, the brother of Abraham, had left Haran and founded a town named after him west of Haran and closer to the Mediterranean Sea. Abraham knew that his brother’s wife, Milcah, had born a number of children. One of their sons, Bethuel, had a son named Laban and a daughter called Rebecca. Genesis 22:20-23

The servant sent by Abraham was led by God to the city of Nahor where he asked for guidance and God the Son moved upon Rebecca to respond. Genesis 24:10-20

The spirits of fear and lying transferred to Isaac from his father and Jesus had to intervene to make sure he did not travel to Egypt. Genesis 26:1-11

Jesus intervened again and assured Isaac that he was in God’s will. Genesis 26:24-25

The Bible tells us that each human was designed in the mind of the Godhead before the creation was started. Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:4-5; Psalm 139:14-17; Galatians 1:15

Remember, it’s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it!
