In the Words of Jesus

The Corner – The apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 that when you prophecy, it is to edify, exhort and comfort.

A Reunion – In my years as an evangelist and pastor, we have met people and many friendships over the years and never really gave it any thought that our lives would end some day, we just lived from day to day for Jesus and tried to reach people for Christ.

In the Words of Jesus – Can we know if it is the Father’s will to heal today? The four gospels are a powerful revelation of the heart and will of God the Father. In the gospels we see the fulfillment of the Father’s love and His plan of redemption for a fallen world. Nowhere does the Scripture teach that this period of grace and mercy, including healing and miracles, was intended for the first century Church only, but would continue until His return. What troubles me regarding faith for healing is that most Christians will agree that God can heal but they are unsure if it is always His will. Basically, the teaching is all over the map, but you don’t get that impression if you simply read the accounts of the miracles and deliverance in the gospels and listen to the dialogue of Jesus with those concerned.

Follow the Truth – A poem that admonishes Christians to read the Bible so you won’t be overtaken by lies.

Turning Curses to Blessings by Carl FoxDo you ever wonder why the same old problems keep coming back into your life? Why some things just never seem to get resolved? Why you continue to be sick? Does it seem like the flow of God’s blessings is just out of reach? While much of Christianity believes curses are non-existent for believers, God’s Word says differently.

This book is a teaching that brings a much needed understanding regarding the subject of curses. The anecdotes are vivid testimonials of the deliverance and healing available because of the work our Lord Jesus accomplished on the cross. >>>Continue

Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians

The people in Ephesus had converted to Christ from the worship of Diana and the apostle Paul was concerned with how the new Christians were going to live in a decadent pagan society. The temple of Diana was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and it was in this setting that the Paul spent three years organizing a church and carefully outlined the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. He explained how God is eternal, Jesus is the Son of God and how predestination fits into our lives. Paul also explained how we are born into the kingdom of Satan and why we are transferred by salvation into the kingdom of God.

Salvation is the cornerstone of Christianity and Paul was emphatic in stating that it only comes by faith and cannot be earned. He called for the believers to live a life worthy of their calling and introduced many concepts that were foreign in idol worship. Paul explained what took place at the resurrection of Jesus and how new believers will be resurrected as well. He instructed them on how to set up church leadership in what has been termed the five-fold ministry and also shared God’s desire for us when it comes to interaction between family members and co-workers.

Finally, Paul taught on spiritual warfare and how it should be conducted. He was not interested in being “seeker friendly” but built the church in Ephesus upon the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every believer in Christ should intimately understand this letter in order to survive and be victorious in the world. Purchase >>>
