The early church was birthed in a cauldron surrounded by the ungodly Jewish leadership. Caiaphas arrested the apostles, intending to question them the next day, but God had other plans and sent an angel to set them free with the message to get back on the proverbial horse.
Soldiers brought them back to Caiphas the next day and the Holy Ghost accused the Sanhedrin of colluding with the Romans to have Jesus crucified. The gloves came off as Caiaphas and his cronies decided to execute the apostles, but Gamaliel prevailed upon them to listen to the voice of reason.
A move of God cannot be stopped when its leader rises from the dead and the followers are empowered to perform miracles. Caiaphas backed off, but vindictively scourged the apostles. They left with the pain of their injuries, counting it an honor to suffer for the name of Jesus, knowing that nothing could stop them when God was on their side. Continue>>>
